Iberdrola delivered the 2022 Supplier of the Year in Spain Awards yesterday afternoon; a recognition that, this year, has fallen to a total of 11 collaborating companies of the company in the development of its strategy towards a decarbonized economy, based on its investments in renewables and distribution networks, increasingly intelligent, storage projects on a large scale and the commitment to innovative solutions for its customers.
One of these awards, specifically the one in the diversity and equality category, has been for Inael Electrical Systems, a company located in Toledo dedicated to the design and manufacture of high and medium voltage electrical equipment, for distribution and generation networks. renewable.
With these awards, Iberdrola recognizes the key role of the value chain in achieving the Group’s strategic projects, underlines the importance of creating an ecosystem of suppliers working with the same objectives and reiterates the commitment to encourage business management in aspects such as sustainable development, safety and quality, innovation, internationalization and job creation. The awards ceremony, held yesterday at the Iberdrola Tower in Bilbao, was chaired by Mario Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Iberdrola Spain, accompanied by the Global Director of People and Services, and Iberdrola Institutional Delegate in the Basque Country, Asís Canales .
