SECTIONALISING LINKS

The INAEL Automatic Sectionalising Link constitutes a radical revolution, in the field of the protection of derivations and branches in overhead distribution electrical systems. It is a completely self-contained device designed for use with breakers or auto-reclosers.

Recent statistical studies, which shown that, approximately, the 90% of the melting on expulsion fuses placed on overhead lines, they happen in answer to transitory shortcircuit, like electric storms, contacts with branches of trees, etc. Also, It is well know that the cost in manpower for each replacement of the melting fuse could be similar to the cost of a new Cut-Out.

The automatic sectionalisers INAEL provides an economic solution to this problem, assuring the effective isolating of a derivation, in the case of a local permanent fault, staying inert in the face of transitory currents, that how we said, they take place, approximately in the 90% of the occasions.

HEAVY DUTY CUT-OUT FUSE BASES AND FUSE HOLDERS

The expulsion CUT-OUT Fuses made by INAEL are single pole devices for vertical crossarm or pole mounting, specially designed to work in outdoor areas, to provide protection in overhead distribution systems for voltage rating from 6 kV throught 36 kV.

All INAEL CUT-OUT are provided with hooks for fixing the "on load break stick" in parallel with the fuseholder. To assure a permanent contact of the fuseholder, during the making operation, a witty guide system is provided in the lower hinge that gradually reduces the upper contact balancing. This system enables to expedite the making operation, that can be practically done from any angle.

The single vent INAEL CUT-OUT are interchangeable with those of the same rated characteristics existing in the market.

Our expulsion CUT-OUT were satisfactorily tested at CESI laboratorioes (Milano),also at LCOE and LABEIN both in Spain which is possible to verify in the next certificates:

Polymeric insulators compound for polyester with fiberglass core and silicone housing.

DROP-OUT FUSES
CERCERAMIC INSULATOR

 

CERAMIC

A-1000 and A-1200 types are expulsion Cut-outs with a single insulator, able to be used in distribution systems 15 kV and 24 kV.

A-1200/36 and A-1200/36/GL types are the most adequate to be used in 30/36 kV overhead lines.

The A-1200/36/GL models are expulsion drop-out fuses with a greater creepage distance insulator.

In the manufacturing process of our fuse links, the most suitable materials are employed, i.e.:

External tube hat in the inner part has an special coating to obtain a better arc quenching.

Pure silver fuse element.

Tinned copper wiring braid of enough across section to avoid unnecesary consumtion.

The fuse links shown in this catalogue can be used in all the expulsion cut-out existing in the market.

Standard carachteristics :

- Thread of M6x1 are used

- Threads 1/4" of 28 threads

 

 

DISCONNECTING BLADES

INAEL manufactures Disconnecting Blades up to 36 KV. - 200 A.

When the Cut-Out Fuse base needs to be used as a Disconnector (OFF LOAD), this elements are the accesory needed for such purpose.
